About Us:
Experience a trip through time at one of the most interesting and exciting museums in Kansas. Find surprises around every corner, including Ivan the T.Rex, two Egyptian mummies, and an expansive military history exhibit. Rent the banquet space for a unique setting to hold a social event, reception, or special occasion. Open daily except Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and the last Saturday in July for the annual fundraiser. Senior discounts and group tours available.

Master of the Mummies
Ages: Entering 3rd - 5th Grade
June 8 - 10, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. OR June 15 - 17, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Cost: $80 (+tax) per camper, $70 (+tax) per camper for Museum Members

Dive into the world of ancient Egypt through our Master of the Mummies Summer Camp. After learning about ancient Egyptians by examining mummies, participants will choose a famous pharaoh, god, or goddess from Egyptian history to recreate in a living wax museum style presentation. Campers will craft costumes, props, and backgrounds to help recreate Egyptian history for family and friends at their final exhibit opening. This camp includes three days of fun and educational learning, an exclusive exhibit opening with refreshments for campers and their families, and a 2015 camp t-shirt.


Museum Apprentice Program
Ages: Entering 6th - 8th Grade
June 8 - 10, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. OR June 15 - 17, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Cost: $80 (+tax) per camper, $70 (+tax) per camper for Museum Members

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work behind the scenes at a museum, studying unique artifacts and putting together displays for everyone to see? The Museum Apprentice Program is for you! This year, participants will design and build their own exhibit about World War II. Museum staff will share expertise on exhibits and assist campers in building a unique project for the public to enjoy. This camp includes three days of fun and educational learning, an exclusive exhibit opening with refreshments for campers and their families, and a 2015 camp t-shirt.
