About the Event

Thursday, October 19
6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

This is to become the MOWT’s signature, annual event, held each year at the Wichita Scottish Rite main banquet hall and featuring an event of the late 16th Century, Elizabethan English period.

This raucous event will include a royal court and costumed servers delivering bountiful platters of meats, whole vegetables and food common to the period. No utensils for this event other than knives.

Marvel at the delightful presentations of our madrigal singers and musicians, members of the locally renowned Nether Consort. Laugh at the wild antics of our court jester. Watch in amazement the daring sword fight. But don’t get out of line or the King’s guards will escort you from the court.

Don’t miss this great opportunity to support the Museum of World Treasures and showcase your company in a grand fashion. Ticket price includes dinner and show along with games of the era. Costumes are encouraged. Dinner is included. Branded steel steins will be available at $25 each for those who wish to partake of the courts wine and beer, complimentary with the purchase of the stein.
